The 1996 Michigan State University Women's Lacrosse Team

The Michigan State Women’s Lacrosse Club is one of 14 competitive lacrosse club teams that make up the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse League, and over 60 teams nationally, playing in the WCLA. Our team travels and competes against other universities in local, regional and national competitions every Spring.

We have provided MSU students with the opportunity to play a nationally competitive sport in college, while still prioritizing school work, mental health, social opportunities, and overall well-being - for over 25 years.

The University provides us with some financial support, but most of our costs are funded by student members or their families by dues and through our own fundraising efforts.

After qualifying for and competing in the National Championship Tournament last year, for the first time in 15 years, we are working hard on and off the field to repeat this achievement again. We are very excited to continue to grow our club and foster a national reputation, but these endeavors do not come cheap. All costs (airfare, hotel, food, etc.) will have to be covered by individual student members, and your contributions would go to help reduce some of these expenses.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in raising money to aid our team's ability to travel nationally while helping to decrease the financial burden on our student athletes! Every cent you contribute will go to the betterment of our club, as our program continues to develop and grow.
